It can be likened to to the brands Cielo X 1, but with less stack, less aggressive geometries and a more democratic underfoot experience so that it's a commercial option for those wanting to log some kms. In the same breath, it's also well-and-truly fast enough for elite athletes to enjoy with its snappy ride.

The dual-density PEBA foam midsole offers an ultra bouncy ride with the top layer being slightly softer in contrast to the bottom layer which is firmer so that you have an overall balanced cushion with enough support. Much like the Cielo X 1 it features a new winged carbon fibre plate that wraps up into the midsole ensuring maximum propulsive energy and stability. This, paired with the reduced weight thanks to removed foam underfoot and a refined breathable mesh upper will have you moving rapidly.

This colourway is part of HOKA's Koshi Tan-Tan collection, inspired by Japanese Ekiden relay races and symbolising patience and perseverance.
