Salomon's S/Lab Pulsar gets an update with version 4. It's iconically known as a do-it-all trail shoe intended for mixed terrain and specifically designed for shorter to mid-length running.

It utilises a durable Matryx® upper which is a high performance mesh that's designed to prevent abrasion, all the while maintaining its lightness and breathability. It features a padded and gusseted race day tongue that wraps around the top of your ankle while still remaining breathable and not too dense. The Pulsar 4 ensures a secure fit with a speed-lace system that helps to distribute an even amount of pressure on the foot and with a lace-garage and tongue pull that helps you get your foot into the shoe, it doesn't compromise that secure feel.

This iteration sees an increased stack in comparison to its predecessors and additionally a lighter weight— anything sub 300g means it's ultra lightweight for a trail shoe. A semi-rigid heel counter ensures secure lockdown, while the dual-density midsole combines optiFOAM+ in the upper layer for softer, more responsive cushioning, paired with a denser optiFOAM beneath that delivers increased support—resulting in a performance-driven race-day feel.

Beneath the foot lies a proFEEL film, a highly flexible TPU layer designed to shield you from harsh terrain and sharp objects. The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole differs slightly from the Pulsar 3, featuring additional lugs on the Pulsar 4 for enhanced traction.
